What is micro nerdle?
Micro nerdle is the smallest puzzle in the nerdleverse – a daily math game where you guess a hidden equation of just 5 characters in 6 tries. With only 5 squares to fill (e.g. 1+2=3 or 9-4=5), the calculations are simple, but you still need to think logically about which digits and operators to try.
Every guess must be a valid equation. After each guess, colour-coded tiles show how close you are:
- Green – correct character in the correct position.
- Purple – correct character, wrong position.
- Grey – character not in the solution.
A new puzzle every day at midnight GMT.
Why play micro nerdle?
Micro nerdle is the easiest game in the nerdleverse and the perfect starting point for anyone new to nerdle. The short equations mean there are fewer possible combinations, so solves are quick. It’s also a great warm-up before tackling mini nerdle (6 characters) or classic nerdle (8 characters).
In classrooms, micro nerdle works well for younger students or for a quick starter activity at the beginning of a lesson.
