Two people playing a game together

multiplayer math games

play against friends, classmates or anyone – in real time

Most daily puzzle games are solo experiences. The nerdleverse includes several ways to play with or against other people – whether that’s a friend, a classmate, or a random opponent online.

More about each game

nerdDuel – a two-player number game. Compete head-to-head against another person or a bot. Both players solve the same puzzle simultaneously, and the faster, more accurate solver wins. Great for testing your speed under pressure.

wordDuel – the word version. Same head-to-head format, but with words instead of numbers.

nerdle cup – multiplayer nerdle competition. Create a private cup challenge for your group or join one of the public cups that run daily. Score is based on guesses and speed.

nerdle on Discord – bring nerdle to your Discord server. Our Discord bot lets you play nerdle in any channel, track scores, and compete with your community. Ideal for classrooms, study groups, or friend groups who want to play without leaving Discord.

Ideas for groups and classrooms

Multiplayer nerdle games work well for group settings:

  • Head-to-head challenges – use nerdDuel for quick one-on-one contests during break time or as a lesson warm-up.
  • Class competitions – set up a nerdle cup or weekly challenges for your class. Track progress over a term.
  • Discord communities – add the nerdle bot to your server and set up daily puzzles with automatic score tracking.
  • Whiteboard nerdle – project a nerdle puzzle on the classroom screen and solve it as a group, discussing strategy as you go.
