Nerdle connect is a grid-based logic puzzle. Each circle on the grid contains a number – that number tells you how many connections that circle must have to its neighbours. Your job is to draw exactly the right number of connections for every circle so that the whole grid is satisfied.
It’s a pure deduction puzzle – no arithmetic needed, just logical reasoning.
Tap or click between two adjacent circles to add a connection. Each pair of circles can have zero, one or two connections between them. The number inside each circle must match the total number of connections leading out of it. Work from the most constrained circles first – circles at corners or edges with high numbers are a good starting point.
Unlike most nerdleverse games, nerdle connect isn’t about equations or calculations. It’s closer to a Hashiwokakero (bridges) puzzle – a popular Japanese logic genre. If you enjoy the logical reasoning side of the nerdleverse, connect is a refreshing change of pace.
For other logic-heavy puzzles, try cross nerdle (a math crossword), maffdoku (sudoku with arithmetic) or 2d nerdle (swap tiles to build a magic square of equations).
