A tword (or “two-word”) is a nonsense word created by joining two real words together. The two words are chosen so that the ending of the first word overlaps with the beginning of the second, and the overlapping letters merge into one. Your job is to figure out what the two original words are.
For example, if the two words were break and earthquake, the tword would be brearthquake – because “eak” is shared between the end of “break” and the start of “earthquake”.
Each day you’re given a new tword – a nonsense word made by merging two real words. You’re also given clues to help you identify the two hidden words.
Use the clues and the letter pattern to work out where one word ends and the next begins. The overlapping section is the key – once you spot it, the two words should fall into place.
A new tword is available every day.
