Nerdle is a family of daily math puzzle games. In each one, a hidden calculation is waiting to be found. Enter a valid equation, and colour-coded tiles tell you how close you are: green means right character, right place; purple means the character is in the answer but in the wrong spot; grey means it’s not in the answer at all.
Every version follows the same core mechanic, but the size of the equation – and therefore the difficulty – varies. There’s something for everyone, from a quick 30-second solve to a serious brain workout.

- midi nerdle – 7 characters. A step up from mini.
- classic nerdle – 8 characters. The original, played by millions worldwide.
- maxi nerdle – 10 characters with extra operators. For those who want a real challenge.
Multiple puzzles at once
- bi nerdle – two nerdles solved simultaneously.
- mini bi nerdle – two mini nerdles at once.
- quad nerdle – four nerdles at once. Not for the faint-hearted.
With a twist
- speed nerdle – against the clock, with a starting guess provided.
- instant nerdle – all the digits are given, but you only get one guess.
